Year 8 (pictured above) took on Westhoughton on Thursday night and came out on top in a very close game. We took the lead early in the first half after Dan Wright made a darting run goal bound, finishing well with his first attempt. Westhoughton pulled one back in the second half and Sharples fired back straight away with Dan Wright getting his second. We managed to hold on after a late push by the home side. Special mention to ‘man of the match’, Tom M who had a fantastic game at centre back! Well done sharples, another win in the bag!
