The Student Affairs Committee got their work underway this week with their first meeting of the academic year. Members of Year 8 – 10 met to discuss the changes that are being made this year. Changes include a rebranding of the SAC alongside the creation of our Twitter account (@SharplesSAC) and a termly newsletter sharing the updates and hard work of our members.
Year 11 members have been notified of their meeting date next week which will look at issues around the school whilst also looking at their specific needs as a year group during their Sharples Journey.
If any students have any ideas or points of discussion, please speak to your SAC members for your year group which are visible with a purple tie. If you are not sure about our members, we will be creating a “Meet the Team” on our new display board which will be located near the Student Zone.
Well done to all members of making such a positive start to the academic year, it promises to be an exciting year ahead!
