A huge congratulations to Cherie Ufuoma (Year 9) who competed in the North of England Athletics Championships at the England Institute of Sport, Sheffield on Sunday. Competing in the 60m sprint, during the heats Cherie managed to run a new PB of 8.08 which secured her place in the semi-final. She went on to win her semi-final with a time of 8.09 before competing in the final where she finished 3rd in the U15 category. This is a fantastic achievement by Cherie and we wish her the best of the luck for the remainder of the season.
