It has been a great start to the year for our netball squads. Netball practice on a Tuesday has been well attended and it has been brilliant to see the older girls step up and help with the development of our new Year 7 team.
Year 9 had their first fixture of 2022 on Wednesday against Bolton School, playing two matches. After a competitive first match where the girls narrowly missed out on victory, the girls stepped up a gear for the second match, scoring a goal in the final second and coming out with a draw! Cherie Ufuoma played fantastically to come away with the girl of the game award. A brilliant effort from all involved. We look forward to more fixtures in the coming weeks.
