Our 2022 cohort have completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Awards. 36 Year 10 students have received their certificates and badges this week. These have been very well-earned by the students, who have all completed their own volunteering, physical and skills activities over the course of three or six month periods. They have then completed their two day overnight expedition in teams of six, walking, camping, cooking, carrying their own equipment and planning and navigating their own routes. Above all they have depended on each other and worked together as teams.
More than half of these students have gone onto their Silver Awards this year, building on their experience and skills from Bronze.
