This week in the Maths department, 25 Year 10 pupils participated in a live talk about careers in the Mathematics curriculum. The talk explored different jobs and pathways Maths could take you on post-16. The pupils got to meet a variety of professionals working in industries such as engineering and had the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about their jobs.
Damon Hacking said “It was an enlightening and interesting talk that made me realise there is a lot more I can do with Maths than I expected if I study it further after school.”
