On the previous bank holiday Monday, 11 of our students attended Wigan Athletic’s final Championship game of the season against Rotherham United. Students were treated to access in the Supporters Club bar area and it was fantastic with people being very friendly.
The students were on the trip thanks to Wigan’s Community Trust who have been doing some work recently with 4 of our students (pictured above). The students have also been lucky enough to receive some kit from Wigan for them to wear on the trip and when completing the activities.
Whilst the game wasn’t much to shout about due to its 0-0 result, it was still a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in!
