Last Thursday we celebrated World Book Day! Our Year7 pupils went round during form time to identify what the teachers had ‘dressed’ their door as (see above). Some of the doors were fantastic! Many of our lessons were themed around a book. Our Maths department chose to base their lessons on The Simpsons and their Mathematical Secrets by Simon Singh. In English, our pupils played a Harry Potter escape room! Students thoroughly enjoyed the day and loved receiving their golden tickets for reading aloud! Well done to everyone that was awarded one.
