For the last 6 weeks, a very committed team of Year 9 students have been building and programming Lego Robots to compete in the Tomorrow’s Engineers Robotics Challenge.

Abdullahi, Amirah, Jacob, Isaac, Mohamed, Hannah, Bethany and Khadijah had several challenges to prepare for, including a robot challenge mat, a speed test and a team presentation.

On Wednesday 4th May, the team travelled to Preston College to compete against 12 other teams from all over the North West. The team performed brilliantly and in a strong field finished 3rd, 2 points away from qualifying for the national final. A fantastic achievement, well done team!
